AITCV English test for candidates to SIDA training courses

AITCV is pleased to inform the test takers sent from the Embassy of Sweden the following information regarding AITCV's English test:

1. Venue: Hanoi, HoChiMinh City, Hue, Da Nang, Da Lat and Can Tho
2. Time: Thursday mornings
3. Testing time
   • Listening: 30 minutes
   • Reading: 45 minutes
   • Writing:  45 minutes
   • Interview: 15 minutes
4. Test format 
   • Listening: 2 tasks (Multiple choice; True/False)
   • Reading: 3 tasks (Multiple choice; True/False)
   • Writing: 2 tasks (Writing informal letter/memo with given key words/phrases; Writing essay)
   • Interview: 2 tasks (Role-play; discussion on current topics)
5. Rating scale
   All test components (Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking) will be rated on a 10 point scale.
6. Qualified scores
   • Listening: 5/10
   • Reading: 5/10
   • Writing: 5/10
   • Speaking: 6/10
     The Qualified candidate's scores are equivalent to TOEFL 500 or IELTS 4.5
