Short-term training course on Basic Statistics from 05 to 10 July 2010 at AITVN HCMC 12.07.2010 The Environment and Development Section (EDS) of the Asian Institute of Technology in Vietnam (AIT-VN) in cooperation with Vietnam Brewery Limited Company (VBL) have successfully completed a short-term training course on Basic Statistics for staff of VBL-HCMC and VBL-Tien Giang. The course aims to enhance their knowledge on the basic statistics and to build up their ability to apply in their related works, particularly in the sampling method, how to select number of samples properly. After the training, the participants could learn on how to create a control chart and be able to assess their current control hypothesis. The course took place from 05 to 10 July 2010 at AIT-VN with the participation of 8 VBL staff, those are working in the technology field as laboratory analysts; supporting staff for packaging; malt intake quality control and management trainees.
