Training course on “Supervision, Follow-up and Report Writing” for staff and partners of the 135-II Implementation Support Program

The Asian Institute of Technogy in Vietnam (AIT-VN) in cooperation with Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Quang Ngai and the AusAid funded Production Development Support Project organized a 5-day training course on Supervision, Follow-up and Report Writing from 12 to 16 July 2010 in Quang Ngai.

The objective of the training is to assist those staff and partners who are involved in the Production Development Support Project under the 135-II National Target Program with knowledge and necessary skills to better supervise and do reporting of their related project implementation timely and effectively. The course's participants were governmental officials of Sub-Development of Rural Development of Quang Ngai; People Committees of Minh Long, Son Ha, Tra Bong, Son Tra, Son Tay, Ba To Districts; Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Quang Ngai; Ethnic Minorities Committee of Quang Ngai and Quang Ngai ISP-PMU staff.

After the training, most of the participants claimed that they can apply the learnt skills such as supervision and report writing into their current works and know on how to define monitoring indicators as relevant to different functional agencies so that their project supervision quality could be improved.
