Program Introduction:
The Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) in collaboration with AIT in Vietnam (AIT-VN) offers the AIT Professional Master Program in the field of Environmental Engineering and Management (PM-EEM) in Vietnam.
PM-EEM aims to provide middle and senior level managers and policy makers with advanced knowledge and skills in environmental management and engineering. It is designed to upgrade their skills and know-how through this unique continuing professional education, specifically tailored to meet the needs of the region for the fast but environmentally sustainable economic growth and development.
Program structure:
In the first two semesters, students will take basic and advanced courses selected from the regular courses offered at AIT, in consultation with an academic/thesis advisor. During the third semester, students will carry out their project study. Students will take an international field trip-cum-study visit to large companies outside Vietnam, such as those inThailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, China and Taiwan or do internship in AIT, Thailand.
Students will obtain the AIT Professional Master Degree in Environmental Engineering and Management (PM-EEM) by completing a 33-credits curriculum study, consisting of 24 credits of coursework, 6 credits of research study and 3 credits of internship/international field trip.
AIT certificate may be awarded to those students who would like to register for course(s) offered in the framework of this Master program. Credits gained from the certificate courses can be also transferred to the AIT Master Degree.

Entry requirement :
To be eligible for admission, a candidate must:
- Hold a bachelor degree (normally from a four-year program), or its equivalent, in an appropriate field of study
- Have Minimum of 5 years working experience
- Certified proficiency in English
Selection of candidates will be based on previous academic performance and professional experience. There will be an interview organized in Vietnam for the final selection.
To apply for admission, an applicant must submit to AITVN in Hanoi:
- A completed AIT application form
- A certified copy of undergraduate certificate (in English)
- A certified official student transcript (in English)
- Two (02) letters of recommendation
- A certificate of English language proficiency

*Note: Fee for international field trip will be reimbursed if applicants do not expect to join.
