Program structure:
Module 1: International Business Issues (the module focuses on broader issues confronting an executive in an international business).
Module 2: Functional Issues (the module focuses on specific issues at functional levels).
Module 3: Corporate Issues (the module focuses on strategic issues at the overall enterprise level).
Module 4: Job Related Issues (the module provides an opportunity to participants to focus on specific issues faced by them in their present and future job contexts).
In first four terms, a series of elective courses will be offered and participants can select one. These elective courses will provide an additional emphasis on a functional area such as marketing, human resource, finance or production management. At the end of each term, the Case Research or Project Study provides a substantial opportunity to complete an in-depth analysis or demonstrate a practical application in an area of specialization.
Program curricula:
The EMBA program is conducted in English and can be completed in 16 months. The 7th and 11th entry of EMBA program in HCMC and in Hanoi will be launched in August 2010 and can be finished at the end of December 2011. The 4th entry of EMBA program in Dong Nai province will be launched in Sept. 2010. For the convenience of working executives, the classes are conducted intensively 1 week in every month at AITCV (in Hanoi or in HCMC) Monday - Friday evenings (3 hours each) and two Saturdays and Sunday. Actual in-class coursework will require some 12-13 weeks, apart from in-company project work and case studies.
Participants can either take the whole program to get the MBA degree or take only 4 courses (3 in-class courses and one case research) to get the Certificate of BA or take 8 courses (6 in-class courses and 2 case researches) to get the Diploma in BA.
Actual in-class coursework will take 13-14 weeks including 4 weeks at AIT in Bangkok. The program requires a period of 4 weeks residency at AIT (Bangkok) dividing into 3 trips. The participants will take some courses during the first two trips to Bangkok. The last trip will be held in December 2009 when participants defend their thesis and receive Master Degree at AIT campus. These trips will give participants an opportunity to become familiar with business environment outside Vietnam and joint with EMBA participants at AIT.
Entry requirement :
To be eligible for admission to the International Executive MBA Program, the applicant should:
Hold a bachelor's degree in an appropriate field of study from an institution of recognized standing;
Have above average grades at the undergraduate level; and
Possess an acceptable level of English proficiency (IELTS:4.5; TOEFT: 500, etc)
In addition, the applicant should have a minimum of two to four years relevant work experience with at least two years at the management or senior professional level.

Fee & Scholarships :
The total program fee including travels and accommodation in Bangkok is approximately US$12,500. The tuition and other fees are payable as a lump sum or in 4 installments of US$ 3,125 each and are payable before the beginning of each semester.
