> International Executive Master of Business Administrative (iEMBA)

Program Introduction:

The International Executive MBA program marks a deeper strengthening of the ties between AIT and Vietnam, emphasizing the commitment of AIT to human resource development in Vietnam. The main focus of the International EMBA program is the middle and senior managers in every sector in Vietnam to transfer state-of-the-art managerial knowledge and to offer a practical insight into current business practices. The program has been launched both in Hanoi (since 2000), Hochiminh City (since 2004) and in Dong Nai (since 2007).

Along with the IEMBA Program in International Business and Management of Technology (IB&MOT), the International Professional Master Program in Public Policy and Management (PPM) will also be conducted in Vietnam from December 2007. This is a new program for public sector participants from Ministries, Provinces, Cities and NGOs relevant to government policies and programs in development, particularly EVN and Petro Vietnam as well as the Ministries of Finance, Trade and Industry, Investment and Planning, Transport and the State Bank.

Program structure:

The EMBA program is conducted in English and can be completed in 16 months including 6 weeks at AIT in Bangkok. For the convenience of working executives, the classes are conducted intensively 1 week in every month at AITCV on Monday - Friday evenings (3 hours each) and two Saturdays and Sundays. Actual in-class coursework will require some 15 weeks, apart from in-company project work and case studies. Participants can either take the whole program to get the MBA degree or take only 4 courses (3 in-class courses and one case research) to get the Certificate of Business Administration or take 8 courses (6 in-class courses and 2 case researches) to get the Diploma in Business Administration.
