OBJECTIVES

This three provides proven planning and scheduling strategies and techniques that will take any maintenance organization to the next level of performance. In addition to practical topics such as: creating a weekly schedule, staging parts and tools, and daily scheduling, this course will include discussion of critical cautions for implementation, patches, major upgrades, testing of maintenance works.

After completing this course, participants will learn:

• Why we need to plan maintenance measures and what benefits come from planning maintenance work.
• What are the basic phases of work planning process
• How to convert the results of the planning process into a schedule
• How to control maintenance plan and schedule
• What are KPIs for maintenance works
• Which tools are needed for planning and scheduling and controlling
• How to continuously improve the planning and scheduling processe

Target participant:

The course is useful for those officers who work in spare part, maintenance or production departments.
Maintenance and Plant Managers who would like to demonstrate how planning fits into maintenance, what principles make it works and exactly how maintenance planning is done.
 
Training Methodology and Language
 
The medium of instruction is Vietnamese.
The course consists of lectures, case studies and group discussions. Several practical maintenance planning and scheduling cases in typical industries will be brought to discussion among participants and instructor. Exchange experiences and idea on related topics are encouraged during the training. Templates for maintenance planning, scheduling and controlling will also be given for the participants to refer in case of need.

Training time : 8:30 - 11:30 AM and 1:30 - 4:30 PM 25-27 May 2009

Fee :

The fee of 300 USD includes tuition fee, a set of materials in Vietnamese and refreshment during the training time.
